Mo’ Sunshine For Mo

Hello again from your pal Mo!  Warmer sunny weather is here and I love to lay around in the sun.  One of my favorite spots to soak up the sun is in the dirt by Susan’s garden.  I also like to hang out in the grass after a run.

Cuz it’s warmer outside, I know Susan is going to go on some camping trips.  I’ve gone on some camping trips and it’s not my thing.  I get so nervous I can’t eat or drink.  I’m more of a home dog than an adventure dog.  Possibly cuz I had a stressful puphood, which is sort of an unsolvable mystery since I can’t bark about it.  All I know is that new people and unfamiliar situations make me very nervous.  It’s all been great since Susan adopted me.  I’m super happy with a regular routine and a safe cozy home.

So when Susan goes camping I go to the safe and cozy sitter’s house.  We recently went to meet a new sitter.   Susan used Rover.com to find both my regular sitter, Uncle Nick, and my new sitter.  Susan says it’s good to have a backup in case Uncle Nick is booked.

TIPS for picking a new sitter on Rover.com:

~Location:  On Rover you can put in your zip code to find sitters in your area.

~Reviews:  It’s great to read the reviews . . .well Susan reads cuz I haven’t learned that trick yet haha, I bet I could though.  Anyway it gives you humans an idea what the sitter is like.  Rover also posts ratings along with the reviews.  I use my nose & canine sense to learn about people.

~ Meet and Greet:  Once you’ve found an available and acceptable sitter on Rover, it’s time to meet them in person at their home to see if everyone gets along.

I was pretty excited and nervous to meet the new sitter.  She has her whole back yard fixed up for dogs to play with toys and places to climb.  After sniffing around and doing what I do here-and-there I started to relax.

Here’s Susan most recent painting of a pup named Bandit.  Playing ball with Bandit looks like a yippin’ good time!

Let me know if you have any topic requests or comments by email.  I’d love to hear from you.

That’s all for this news-bark.

 Keep your tail a waggin’!

Bark for now.  Your pal, Mo
