Waggin' and Smilin' with Mo & Paz
Woof! It’s your happy pal Mo here again! A HAPPY DOG is my bark for today! Two happy dogs is even better! This month my pal Paz has been staying with us and we have been playing and running and swimming and having a great ol’ pup of a time.
It took Paz a few days to adjust to staying with us. His humans are away on vacation and a change in environment and routine made him kinda bummed. He moped around and didn’t want to eat, but then he realized he was on vacation too and started to have a great time.
Here are a few TIPS on how to perk up the pack!
THE WALK: Susan takes us walking on the trail. Paz and I are both trained using the Gentle Leader and we walk great together. This helps me and Paz too to walk out any anxiety, get feeling buzzed on fresh air and just being happy together! Here’s us:
ROUTINE: Susan is confidently calm with us and has a set routine that helps us know it’s all good. She is also a good leader so we feel safe and know what is expected of us. We get up, go outside to do our biz, then we get some yummy slurpy chow, and then we go for our walk on the trail. When we get back we’re all tired out and like to chilax. I snooze on my bed, but Paz has a lot of hot hair and feels more comfy zonking out on the bathroom tiles. Throughout the day we nap, play, nap, play, go outside to play fetch and sniff around. Later we eat some more. Pretty soon it’s kennel time and more Zzzzzz.
BEING FREE DOGS: We got a special trip to the lake for swimming, sniffing, running in the grass. We always keep an ear out for commands from Susan, she’s our she-alpha. It’s all about having fun and being safe too. Here’s some pictures of us having fun:
Hope your tail is waggin’!
Bark for now. Your pal, Mo
